16 October 2007 - Last Project in Process

Today i struggle with Lightwave Modeler to make a tree. My idea for the last project is to do a series of different creatures from my imagination, like a fairy tale living in an enchanted place similar to a forest. All of this idea is because i like to see the world as a metaphor full of phantasy.
Here is my intent of my first tree and now i am going to start to do my creatures!

9 October 2007 - My Space House

I came back yesterday from Sydney, so i just finished my SPACE HOUSE today.
I really like to work with a picture in the background because it gives you an idea that the object is in a real space, it was fun. Because od the excercise of the surreal kitchen i learned to use my creativity and let my imagination creates objects which could be in our world but are different because i modify them with the tools of lightwave modeler.
Now i will start to work in my new project and our last assignment, which is free of theme so it gives us the freedom to work in anything we want, i am really excited to see what comes at the end! ;-)

Surreal Kitchen

17 September 2007

I feel more comfortable with this program now. I never thought i could do something like that with Lightwave Modeler, but now i can create 3D objects. It was difficult at the beginning but with some practice it started to be fun. And i started to be more creative the more i got to know the program, so even though it's a computer based program, creativity still comes naturally playing with the tools and effects of the program. I realized how much work such an animation movie is and i think i will look differently at the next animated motion picture i'll see. I'm going to watch Ratatouille now! :-) Thanks!

28 August 2007 - Pixar Exhibition

We went last week to the Pixar Exhibition at the ACMI in Federation Square.
It was really interesting to see how they create a Moving Image Film, from the drawings, paintings, sculptures, digital installations, it gives you the whole idea, what it takes to make a film. It is so much work but when you really know how to use a program you can do amazing things. I enjoyed to be there and i learned a lot. It was fun!
